Padukone is the daughter of badminton star Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and grew up in Bangalore. As a teenager she competed in badminton at National level competitions. She later resigned her profession in sports in order to be a fashion model. Padukone is born in Mangalorean origin and her native language is Konkani. Padukone is located situated in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi in Karnataka State in India, is where her ancestry originates. Prakash Padukone has retired as an internationally renowned badminton athlete, while her mother also works as a travel advisor.
